When Unreal Tournament 2003 came out, began work on maps, and scripts.
When the Voodoo 3D video cards first came out, I began working with 3D modeling programs.
I started with animation in a program called “TrueSpace” by Caligari.
Later, I moved on to Maya and 3DS Max for a while before settling on Blender for it’s ease of use, flexibility and extensibility.
